It is a very stressful time right now. There are so many rumors that are going around about adoptions in Guatemala and how in-process adoptions are being treated by PGN during the audit they are conducting that we don't know who/what to believe.
We would like to thank all of those who participated in last Tuesday's "Day of Prayer" and also those who have continued to pray for Paula and the other babies who are waiting to come home to their families. We would also like to thank you for all of the prayers, thoughts, hugs, and support that you have given us during this process. It has been helpful and comforting knowing that we have you in our lives!
Paul and I have decided to turn our day of prayer, which was on Tuesday, May 13th into an ongoing Tuesday night prayer. We would love it if you would join us in praying for a quick homecoming and a change in attitude from the Guatemalan government.
Here are the details:
When: Tuesday Nights from Tuesday May 20 until further notice
When: 9pm New Jersey (EST) time (which is 7pm in Guatemala)
Where: Wherever you happen to be at the time
Who: All religions are welcome to join us in prayer...we appreciate everyone’s prayers!
Thank you everyone in advance for your prayers and if you would like to pass our request on to others, we would appreciate it.

Day of Prayer to bring Guatemalan babies home!
Hi all! It's been decided by many of the adoptive parents in my agency to form a Day of Prayer where we can all pray at the same time for our babies to come home quickly. We figure that by praying at the same time, we may begin to feel some sort of peace. I know that I won't feel peaceful until Paula comes home to us for good, but I also figure the prayers can't hurt.
If anyone would like to join in our day of prayer, we are planning on praying on Tuesday May 13th, at 7PM Guatemalan time, which is 9PM New Jersey (EST) time. Please join us in praying for our daughter's homecoming and all the other babies that are stuck in the "big black HOLD" that is called PGN! (see previous posts for comments about the black hold!)
Thank you in advance for your prayers and thank you to all who have listened to my worries and have tried to calm my tears and my fears!

Please Pray Paula Comes Home Soon!
Hi everyone. By now you may have heard me complaining about the "shutdown" of PGN and how worried Paul and I are. We're hopeful that things will reopen soon, but until they do, please say a prayer that the Guatemalan government completes their investigation of adoptions and reopens PGN's doors so that cases can be released (or resubmitted if a PREVIO has been received.) Right now instead of calling PGN the black hole, it's being referred to as the "Black Hold!" AGH, just let us out...we want our daughter home with us!
